Learning English has become more and more important recently. Therefore, how to make the method of teaching and learning advanced is vital demand to English teachers. The fact shows that we can easily approach information and technology and get no difficulty in communication if we are good at Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in English fluently. Specially, reading is one of the basic skills that is paid attention to in the process of teaching and learning English. For high school students, they have chances to get more information through units based on themes. Thanks to the passages, they will test events related to daily activities. Moreover, they know deeply cultural diversities from lessons to lessons. If students are bad at reading skill, they get difficulties in getting and keeping information so long. From my experiences in teaching English at Hoang Mai High School .We find that our students’s skill in reading is limitative, so exchanging information from units to students is uneasy. This not only makes lessons monotonic and unexcited but also affects students’ studying passively.

Purposes We have all known recently that manipulating interdisciplinary knowledge in solving a problem of lesson is essential, which makes learners not only study and improve the knowledge from other subjects but also help them understand and solve the matter fast and perfectly. Manipulating knowledge of subjects such as Geography, History, Mathematics, Physics, Knowledge from Culture, Civic education and Life in unit 16: The Wonders of the World, English 11 provides them with a brief information about the great pyramid of Giza. Moreover, with the images of some wonders being destroyed students are aware of their duties in protecting heritages and Citedal of the Ho dynasty as well. Based on the innovation of the Ministry of Education & Training about manipulating interdisciplinary knowledge in teaching, we would like to give some of our new ways of teaching part A Reading unit 16: The Wonders Of The World, English 11 effectively

Hoa Tien Cave is a natural cave formed millions of years ago today, located in 
the Eo Kín mountain range in Hoang Mai town. During the war of sabotage in

Con Temple is a temple gone deep into the mind of Nghe An people by the 
sentence “First-Con Temple;Second-Qua Temple;Third-Bach Ma 
Temple;Fourth-Chieu Trung Temple”.The Con Temple is rated the 
historical,cultural, arichitectural,art vestige at national level.Con Temple is 
located by Mai Giang River,near Con river mouth in Quynh Phuong 
ward,Hoang Mai town,Nghe An province for worship of four female Saints.Con 
Temple is the common name of Inner Con Temple and Outer Con Temple.The 
temple has beautiful feng shui, standing like the head of a phoenix with two 
wings of two sand dunes along the gate.The temple was built in the Tran 
Dynasty,developed in large scale in the Le Dynasty and restored several times in 
the Nguyen Dynasty.In the war against America,the temple was destroyed, 
leaving only a building.Since 2011-2015, the temple had the Upper,Middle and 
Lower shrines reconstructed under the project of reconstruction of Con 
Temple.Through the temple gate to the courtyard, step up 10 stone steps to the 
Nghi Mon court. This is a superficial Cong-shaped building, consisting of 2 
floors, 8 roofs, followed by the Lower Palace, the Middle Palace and the Upper 
Palace.Con Temple is valuable architectural construction with many original 
sculptures kept unitl now.Inside the temple, 142 precious artifacts are kept, 
including all kinds of ordination, couplets, great letters, sacrifices, 2-sided stone 
stele, Canh Hung cast bronze bell, 28 stone statues and many wooden statues of 
the Le Dynasty.Outside Temple is located about 1km from Inner Con 
Temple.The temple was restored in the early 19th century during the reign of 
King Gia Long. The temple is located on Than Lan mountain facing the East 
Sea. The temple is dedicated to King Tong De Binh and three generals of the 
Southern Tong Dynasty: Luc Tu Phu, Luong The Kiet and Luong The Kiet. Van 
Thien Tuong.These gods were formerly worshiped in the inner temple, but due 
to the disagreement between male and female Confucian beliefs in the early 19th 
century, King Gia Long moved the palace to worship Tong De Binh and three 
generals of the Tong dynasty out at the outer Con Temple.The festival in Con 
Temple is held annually from 19 until January 21 , imbued with Vietnamese 
national culture and Nghe culture, an opportunity for local people as well as 
tourists from all over the world to visit the temple to worship and remember the 
merits of the four female Saints and participates in traditional cultural activities, 
exciting folk games such as “chạy ói”, playing human chess, dragon boat racing, 
tuong singing, chau van..., it will certainly bring many interesting things to 
visitors. Including "chạy ói"practise a locally traditional game with deeply local 
cultural indentity.

4. Group 4: Lam (the leader of the group)

Talk about Hoa Tien Cave 
The fouth group ’ s Talk 
+Hoa Tien Cave is located in Tan Hung block, Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai 
town, Nghe An province, about 1km from National Highway 1A. This is a 
natural cave located in the Eo Kin mountain range. The cave faces east, has an 
area of 96m2, the entrance of the cave is 5m high, 8m wide, the length of the 
cave from outside to inside is 12m and gradually narrows, in front of the door 
there are many large boulders. The cave is divided into 2 main branches and 
some small niches that can accommodate a few people. The top has many 
stalactites, giving the cave a wild beauty and is an ideal place for shelter. 
Previously, the cave was called Monkey Cave, but then this cave was chosen by 
Team 4, unit C271 of Team 27 Young Volunteer as a shelter, so it was called 
Cave 4. Finally, on April 28/ In 1966, the US fired rockets into the cave, causing 
33 young volunteers to die, so since then the cave has been called Hoa Tien 
Cave.

about 9 a.m., the alarm bell suddenly rang, the leader Tran Dinh Tham ordered 
and directed everyone to run into the cave where Monkey was hiding. When 
everyone ran to about 30m from the cave entrance, the enemy plane rushed to 
launch a rocket right into the mouth of the cave, causing hundreds of stone 
blocks to collapse, 34 people were buried. In a moment, the cave To 4 turned 
into a pile of rubble. 30 young volunteers who were sheltering in the cave died 
on the spot, the remaining 3 were taken to the hospital for emergency but did not 
survive. Since then, quarry workers and locals have called this place Hoa Tien 
cave. Mr. Tien said that many information in the newspaper that 33 martyrs of 
Hoa Tien cave were buried at the Railway Martyrs Cemetery is incorrect. In the 
archives, there are only 25 martyrs buried at the cemetery, 4 martyrs are missing 
in the cave but their bodies have not been found, 1 martyr is stuck in the cave 
and cannot be brought out. Thus, of the 33 graves at the Railway Martyrs 
Cemetery in Hoang Mai, there are 7 graves with names on the stele but no 
remains in the graves. In 2011, Rocket Cave and Railway Cemetery were 
recognized as National Historic Sites by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and 
Tourism. Over the years, the high school in Hoang Mai town has also had many 
meaningful and humane activities with this historical relic. Schools often bring 
students to this space for extra-curricular learning and to organize unionization 
ceremonies at the relic site, assigning school's daily duty groups to regularly 
take care of, smoke incense, and clean relics. . The locality has invested in and 
upgraded this historic cluster with an area of 5,000 m2 to match a national 
historical relic and the sacrifices of 33 TNXP martyrs at Hoa Tien cave.

4. Effectiveness of the research 
To consolidate the lesson We had students done a 15 minutes test with ten 
multiple choice questions on the worksheets. After 15 minutes I collected the 
papers, gave marks and feedback. 
From the results of applying our new solution in teaching, We realize that most 
students understand and do well. Besides, most of them are interested in learning 
from manipulaing interdisciplinary subjects which provides the students a wide 
range of information related to the lesson. Below is the statistics We have 
collected from the school year 2021-2022 that our experiences have been done 
in three classes 11A8, 11A11 at Hoang Mai High school.

III. Conclusion 
1. General conclusion 
 In a lesson of teaching reading skill, the teacher not only helps students 
understand the meaning of the passage but also manipulate plexibly techniques 
which are agreeable with the instant unit to motivate students’s interest in 
learning and create activities to make them practise better. However, English is 
by far different from Vietnamese because it is too difficult to learn and 
remember. Reading in Vietnamese is much easier as students do not get 
difficulty in understanding the passage. Moreover, many students have a 
limitation of words, some are lazy in practising at home or preparing the lesson 
before going to school that prevent them from having good results. 
Reading, writing and thinking such a difficult lesson like unit 16 in Engish 11 
requires students both having numerous words and phrases but also 
understanding the culture of Egypt. And if they pay much attention to explain 
correlative information, the content of the lesson will not be recoiled. What is 
more, if they just cover on the content, there is little time for explaination. 
Anyway, We have just presented our lesson plan from which We both teach our 
students knowledge and manipulate disciplinary knowledge
