Kết hợp STEAM (Khoa học, Công nghệ, Kỹ thuật, Nghệ thuật và Toán học) trong dạy Tiếng Anh giúp học sinh phát triển toàn diện các kỹ năng như tư duy logic, sáng tạo, hợp tác, và giao tiếp, cùng với việc nâng cao kỹ năng Tiếng Anh. STEAM tạo ra môi trường học tập tích cực, thú vị và động não. Kết hợp các hoạt động thực tế, thí nghiệm, dự án và tạo đồ để học sinh áp dụng Tiếng Anh vào các bài toán và vấn đề thực tế, giúp họ hứng thú và tận hưởng quá trình học tập. Kết hợp STEAM với Tiếng Anh mở ra cơ hội khám phá các lĩnh vực khác nhau như khoa học, công nghệ, kỹ thuật và nghệ thuật. Điều này giúp học sinh hiểu rõ hơn về mối liên hệ giữa Tiếng Anh và các ngành học khác, cũng như khám phá sự ứng dụng của Tiếng Anh trong thế giới thực.
Kết hợp STEAM và Tiếng Anh mang đến các hoạt động và dự án thú vị, khám phá, và đòi hỏi sự sáng tạo. Điều này giúp học sinh phát triển khả năng tư duy sáng tạo, tự tin và sẵn sàng thử nghiệm ý tưởng của mình trong môi trường học tập. Sự kết hợp giữa STEAM và Tiếng Anh giúp học sinh phát triển kỹ năng cần thiết để thành công trong thế giới hiện đại. Học sinh sẽ có khả năng làm việc nhóm, giải quyết vấn đề phức tạp, và sử dụng Tiếng Anh một cách linh hoạt và hiệu quả trong các tình huống thực tế. Việc lựa chọn viết đề tài về “Kết hợp STEAM trong dạy Tiếng Anh cho học sinh cấp tiểu học” giúp tạo ra một phương pháp giảng dạy đa chiều, kích thích sự hứng thú và phát triển toàn diện cho học sinh. Qua báo cáo giải pháp này, tôi hy vọng góp phần giúp học sinh của mình thêm tự tin để thể hiện khả năng ngôn ngữ trong cuộc sống và môi trường giao tiếp thực tế và ứng dụng trong lựa chọn nghề nghiệp trong tương lai phù hợp với năng lực và sở thích của cá nhân.
